Microsoft launches latest OS windows 8, which is specially designed for touch purpose but it can be used in desktop also. Now tablets are not just a tablet but more than a tablet, it can be change into laptop or a desktop. So hybrid technologies are out in the market and using windows 8. Tablet manufactures are choosing windows 8 because of its wide range of hardware support features and excellent performance.

List with released Windows 8 tablets and hybrids:

1. Samsung – Series 5, 7 hybrids

Series 5 hydrid:

The Series 5 will have 11.6 inch HD screen having resolution 1366 x 768 pixels. It has Super Bright multitouch display running on Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processor. It will have 2GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of solid state storage. Samsung offers the same WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, and 4G options in this model as on the more expensive Pro model.

But it has down points, It has low power Atom CPU should be good enough for basic computing, it won’t offer the same kind of performance you get with a Core i5 chip. But good point is that this model cheaper than the ATIV Pro, it’s also thinner, lighter, cheaper, and gets better battery life. The tablet alone measures about 0.39 inches thick and weighs about 1.6 pounds. Add a keyboard dock and that jumps to 0.78 inches and 3.6 pounds. Series 5 will cost $649

Series 7 hybried:

The Series 7 will have very high resolution screen ever on tablet even series 5 don’t have that, full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution Super Bright display with 10-finger multitouch, an Intel Core i5 3317 ULV processor, Bluetooth 4.0, and a/b/g/n wireless as well as 3G and 4G options. Samsung will offer up to 4GB of RAM on this model, and up to 256GB of solid state storage. The tablet measures 0.5 inches thick and weighs just less than 2 pounds. Series 7 will cost $1,119

2. Samsung ATIV Tab:

Samsung ATIV Tab is a 10.1-inch 1,366 x 768 resolution display, Windows RT-powered tablet that looks very nice, with a single physical button with the Windows logo on it. The device runs on a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel front shooter. Design wise, the ATIV Tab is a pretty slick device, measuring just 8.9mm thick and with a weight of 570g. It will have 32GB and 64GB storage other series are working on SSD but it has microSD like function. First ever windows office 2013 will be there. It would have 7,000mAh long lasting battery not seen on any tablet ever.

3. ASUS – Vivo Tab, Vivo Tab RT hybrids:

Asus Vivo Tab has an 11.6-inch IPS display having resolution 366 x 768 pixel. It is powered by an Intel Atom CPU, has 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is 0.33 inches thick, weighs 1.5 pounds (675 g). It would have heavy 8 MP shooter cameras with autofocus and LED flash.

Vivo Tab RT version is slightly smaller and runs a Tegra 3 processor with a 12-core GPU. It maintains the same RAM, but the internal storage gets slashed to 32 GB.

Pricing would be much different in this tablet.

4. Sony VAIO Duo 11 Hybrid:

It is an 11.6-inch tablet having resolution 1920 x 1080 pixel. It comes in two variants of RAM 4GB or 8GB which is really impressive. It has solid 128GB or 256GB of SSD. The VAIO Duo 11 is a Windows 8 Pro device and it can have i7, i5 or i3. We will update it soon

XPS Duo 12 will have A Full-HD display 12.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) with 10-point multitouch and edge-to-edge Gorilla Glass, plus Intel hardware that features processor options up to their Core i7 range.

The other device, the Dell XPS 10, is a 10.1-inch Windows RT tablet that comes with a slim-hinge keyboard dock and apparently 20 hours of battery life from a single charge (presumably while docked to the keyboard).

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 will sport 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 pixel IPS display with a full resolution of 1,366×768; the tablet is powered by an Intel Clover Trail processor. The unit we saw was operating at 1.8GHz and was able to run several apps simultaneously without a hanging. The tablet weighs 1.3 pounds, features a 10 hour battery, and has both a multitouch capacitive touchscreen for finger input and an active digitizer that lets you write or draw on the screen with a pressure-sensitive digital pen. Expected retail price of around $799 (£500)

Lenovo also offers Enterprise-level TPM security and a slew of business-friendly add-on services such as on-site service and accidental damage protection.

IdeaTab Lynx is an 11.6-inch Atom-based tablet, just like the ThinkPad Table. It has new 1.8 GHz dual-core “Clovertrail” Intel Atom Z2760 processor, along with 2GB of memory and either 32 or 64GB of eMMC flash storage. The 11.6-inch IPS display has a 1,366×768-pixel resolution, the same as many 11- to 13-inch laptops, along with five-point capacitive multitouch. Micro-USB, Micro-HDMI, and a microSD card slot are the ports on the Lynx tablet itself, while the keyboard dock adds two USB 2.0 ports. The

Lynx also has Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, stereo speakers, dual digital microphones, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a Gyro sensor.

HP Envy X2 is neither a 10.1 inch tablet nor an 11.6 inch one but an 11 inch slate. It is only 8.5 mm thick and has a weight of 1.5 pounds, but the dock adds some extra weight, as it weighs 1.6 pounds. This tablet also has NFC, pen support and for music lovers having Beats Audio technology. An 8-MP back camera and a microSD slot to, it has internal 64 GB SSD makes sure you could get enough storage. It has an Atom-based Clover Trail processor; we don’t have yet any details on pricing and availability,

A dock comes with the tablet that allows you to view it in widescreen mode at 70 degrees or 20 degrees. While the dock uses the tablet’s USB 3.0 port, it comes with three of them and also recharges the tablet. The Acer Iconia W700 weighs in at 2.3 pounds.

The Acer Iconia W510 features a 10.1-inch IPS display and a detachable keyboard. It features a tri-mode that allows users to touch, type, and view. When snapping on the keyboard the W510 transforms from tablet mode to productivity mode and extends the battery life up to 18 hours. The device can be rotated 295 degrees to be used in presentation mode. Acer says this mode is best suited for watching videos, surfing the web, or viewing a PowerPoint presentation. It has 8mp shooter camera and full HD video recording support. It weight only 1.04g it is windows based tablet having wifi, USB and HDMI support.
