If you have Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5113 and you are flashing custom ROM’s in it regularly then you might need to revert back to a Samsung stock firmware. The latest firmware for the P5113 is Ice cream Sandwich Android 4.0.4 firmware UEBLH3. Below the guide will help you install the UEBLH3 firmware on your Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5113.
This tutorial is only for Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5113 and it is not compatible with other devices. This guide is risky for you and you should not attempt anything if you don’t know completely. If any damage occurs we are not responsible for that.
How to Install Android 4.0.4 UEBLH3 Firmware on Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5113
Step 1- Backup all your important data like SMS, contacts, APN settings. SMS with the help of “SMS Backup and Restore app”. Then Backup your contacts by using Sync with Gmail app. To backup your phone logs use “Call log and restore app”. Then take Backup of your APN settings. Go to Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names and note down.
Step 2- It is very important that you have proper drivers for the tablet is installed. If not then you need to install Samsung Kies software.
Step 3- Download Odin from here which is used to flash the firmware and extract it on the desired folder of the computer.
Step 4- Then Download UEBLH3 firmware package and extract this zip file to get a file named P5113UEBLH3_HOME.tar.md5.
Step 5- Disconnect the device from computer and switch it off. Then boot it into download mode by pressing power and volume up button together till it enter to the download mode.
Step 6. Open Odin and double click the Odin v1.85.exe which you got after extracting the zip file.
Step 7. Then connect your tablet to computer now. You will get a message “Added” in the odin message box.
Step 8. In odin, click the PDA button and browse to select the file P5113UEBLH3_HOME.tar.md5 file which you got in above steps.
Step 9. Then hit start button to start flashing the UEBLH3 firmware. When the flashing is complete your tablet will automatically reboot and then you will be seeing the Samsung logo, then you can unplug the cable. If your Odin get stuck and you will get a fail message in odin. Then disconnect the tablet form computer and close Odin and press and volume up + power keys till the device reboots and shows the warning screen. Then Press volume up key to enter the download mode and repeat the procedure again.
